5 January 2008– Calpulli Mexican Dance Co. announces its first of three sessions in 2008 of its children's dance workshop to be held January through May in Queens. The award-winning program serves children 5 to 8 years and 8 to 13 years of age with culturally-enriching classes based on traditional Mexican dance. The classes focus on regional dances from Mexico along with lessons in history and dance movement. The program is by voluntary donation. All families are invited to bring their children to this unique arts experience made up of fun, exercise, and learning.

MANO A MANO MEXICAN CULTURE WITHOUT BORDERS
Mano a Mano: Mexican Culture Without Borders will partner with the American Folk Art Museum for Immigrant History Week and present Corridos de September 11th on April 17th. John McDowell, will lecture followed by a musical celebration. Celebrate Día de la Bandera (February 24th) and Día del Niño (April 30th) with us!
