Dear Members,
I am delighted to inform you that the U.S.-Mexico
Chamber of Commerce Northeast Chapter (USMCOCNE) is
successfully concluding a period of changes that I
am certain will contribute to enhance its
consolidation and growth.
Our Management Committee has ratified Alejandro
Ramos as Executive Director of the USMCOCNE. You
have known Alejandro for the last three years as our
Trade Representative, and now he has been promoted
and ratified as Executive Director. Now, Alejandro
is officially leading the Northeast Chapter with a
number of ambitious projects that will continue to
consolidate and expand the scope of our Chamber.
The USMCOCNE has also incorporated Isabel Fernandez
as our new Trade Representative. Isabel is bringing
to the Chamber great professional experience in
Mexico’s public and private sectors, as well as
outstanding academic credentials in Public Policy
and Foreign Affairs. Our staff is also being
enriched by the ratification of Sandra Betancur as
our Program Coordinator, who has been collaborating
with the Chamber for more than one year.
Likewise, the USMCOCNE, recently moved to its new
offices at the heart of Times Square at 1540
Broadway. I would like to reiterate my sincere
gratitude to all my partners at Duane Morris LLP for
their continued support to our Chamber and for
inviting us to move to their new space in the very
exciting Times Square where we have found in
addition to superb offices a new home.
During the second half of the year, the USMCOCNE,
will have a very dynamic calendar of events and
programs that include our III Annual Mexico’s Real
Estate Investment Forum, an Infrastructure Finance
in Mexico Seminar and our traditional Mexico’s
Independence Day Gala. I invite you to join us for
these events and to continue supporting our Chamber
in its mission of strengthening and developing
business relationships between Mexico and the United
States.
Please receive my personal regards,
Eduardo Ramos-Gomez
President
