June 14, 2017 Mexico's Electricity Conference

The United States – Mexico Chamber of Commerce, Northeast Chapter organized a conference to discuss the most recent developments and opportunities in the Mexican Electricity Sector, having Guillermo Zuñiga, Commissioner, Mexico's Energy Regulatory Commission as a keynote speaker among other important experts, whom addressed important questions by the attendees.  The conference was attended by 70 guests.

June 9, 2017 Meeting with Ambassador Gerónimo Guitiérrez,

The Regional Advisory Board of the United States – Mexico Chamber of Commerce held a private meeting with Ambassador of Mexico to the United States, Gerónimo Gutiérrez, to discuss about new developments and challenges on the economic and business relation between both countries. Ambassador Gutiérrez provided prompt information about the future of the U.S.-Mexico relation. The meeting was hosted by Eduardo Ramos-Gomez, our President of the Northeast Chapter in the offices of Duane Morris.

June 7, 2017 Engaged Forum

The Unites States – Mexico Chamber of Commerce Northeast Chapter organized a conference, in which prominent speakers analyzed, discussed and promoted a business culture of collaboration, integration and recognition between women and men in cross-border and domestic business in Mexico and the United States discussing topics such as gender equality among others.
The conference was organized in partnership with Mexico Work Group and it was hosted by our binational member HSBC. I was attended by more than 130 guests.

June 2, 2017 Banxico on Mexico's Monetary Policy & Political Outlook

The United States – Mexico Chamber of Commerce Northeast Chapter held a presentation and conversation with Javier Guzman, Vice-Governor of Mexico’s Central Bank (BANXICO). The event was hosted by our Corporate Member Nomura Securities. Vice-Governor of Mexico’s Central Bank, Javier Guzman provided key information about the Mexican economy to a distinguished group of bankers, asset managers and other Members of the Chamber.

May 31, 2017 Mexico at the Prelude of a NAFTA Revision

The United States – Mexico Chamber of Commerce hosted a conference about the future of trade in North America by keynote speaker Ken Smith, director of Trade and NAFTA Office at the Ministry of Economy / Embassy of Mexico to the United States, who was currently appointed as Mexico’s Chief Negotiator for NAFTA. Ken Smith provided key information about NAFTA and the potential outcome of its modernization. The conference was attended by 90 top executives.

May 23, 2017 Binational Board Meeting & Gala, Washington DC

On May 23 & 24 The United States - Mexico Chamber of Commerce (USMCOC) hosted its annual Bi-national Board Meeting, Conference and Gala. The Gala was attended by the USMCOC Members and important guests.

May 5, 2017 Annual Cinco de Mayo Corporate Luncheon

The United States – Mexico Chamber of Commerce organized at Cosme Restaurant our annual celebration of this important day in Mexican history as we celebrate heritage and embrace Mexican culture by enjoying Mexican music, cuisine and beverages. The luncheon was greatly attended by our Members and special guests.

April 18, 2017 Mexican Professionals Spring Networking Reception

The U.S.-Mexico Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Mexican Professionals Network and APEM hosted its annual spring reception for Mexican professionals working and living in New York City. The reception represented a great opportunity for the Mexican Professional Community to get together and give them voice in how to impact positively the community. The reception was attended by 120 Mexican professionals.
