Mano a Mano and the NY Writers Coalition Present Free Billingual Creative Writing Workshop for Mexicans

Join us for writing and sharing work in a supportive and respectful environment. Open to any Mexican immigrants over the age of 18 who wish to write in Spanish or English. Writers of all genres and levels of experience are welcome. No prior writing experience is necessary. Workshop is on Mondays, beginning on July 14th, from 6-8pm at the Mano a Mano office

Mano a Mano is proud to represent Mexico for the 3rd year at the Junta Hispana on Sunday, August 17, 2008 at Flushing Meadow / Corona Park in Queens. We provide New Yorkers with access to information on community services related to basic adult education and immigration and present Mexican games for the family. Junta Hispana celebrates the traditional arts of the major Spanish- speaking areas of the world: Spain, Mexico, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean.

Mano a Mano presents a crafts workshop at this free festival of traditional music and arts associated with the racetrack and its backstretch workers. From 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 19 at the Jockey Recreation Center on Union Ave.
