CALPULLI MEXICAN DANCE COMPANY

Calpulli Mexican Dance Company is proud to announce a new international project- "The Values in Dance." Sponsored in part by the National Association of Latino Arts and Culture, the project is an international exchange between Calpulli based in New York City and a dance company based in Iguala, Guerrero, Mexico. Both partners will visit the other, exploring its artistic works, environments, meetings respective artists, and then have dialogue about observations. The goal of the project is to understand the values of both artistic organizations, the values implicit in the artistic works. The exchange is planned in the fall of 2012 with public events in early 2013. Calpulli is looking to partner with organizations and individuals on the project.
