Angora Gallery Mexican Artists Exhibition
Angora Gallery presents the exhibition of
two Mexican artists, Jesus Zepeda Moctezuma
and Blanca Ruth Casanova.
Moctezuma’s surrealist works and Casanova’s
mosaic-like paintings will be on display in
Masters of the Imagination: The Latin
American Fine Art Exhibition from March
29 - April 18 in our SoHo location at
415 West Broadway. The reception party is
March 30 from 6-8 PM.
Reception and exhibition are free.
Moctezuma’s culturally rich tableaus of lush
color and phantasmagorical dreamscapes are
decorative and almost metaphysically
animated. They are hypersexual, full of
symbology and pseudo-religious iconography.
Casanova's paintings possess a mosaic-like
quality in their overall design and a
portraiture sensibility in their exquisite
detail and introspective depth.
