Orquesta de Baja California

The Consulate General of Mexico in New York and The
Mexican Cultural Institute are pleased to invite you
to the debut concert of the Orquesta de Baja
California on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 , 8 p.m. at
Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, under the
leadership of the renowned conductor/guitarist Angel
Romero and with guitarist Roberto Limón as soloist.
The concert will feature works by Luis Sandi,
Alberto Núñez Palacio, Leo Brouwer, and Silvestre

Pablo Helguera
Pablo Helguera is one of Mexico's most prominent
visual artists. For the opening of his new solo
exhibition at Julia Friedman Gallery, NY on April
22, the Mexican American Symphony Orchestra
conducted by Alondra de la Parra performs a unique
music program.
