The United States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce (USMCOC), incorporated in 1973 in the District of Columbia as a 501 (c)(6) non-profit corporation, is a chartered bi-national organization promoting trade and investment between the two American nations. The Chamber represents more than 1,000 businesses in the United States and Mexico, and maintains offices and Chapters in both countries.

The United States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce (www.usmcoc.org) depends upon strong regional

Chapters, one of them the Northeast Chapter in New York, with independent Boards and Councils, to better respond to local needs and to better share information at the international level. The chapters, with membership throughout the United States and Mexico, give the Chamber the benefits of local Chambers of Commerce. But by tying them all together, members also enjoy the benefits of a large, bi-national organization
